Why do roofers use RoofRender instead of Design EyeQ?
- Every brand you sell on one photo, not just one manufacturer's.
- Standing seam, corrugated, tile and slate as well as shingles.
- A finished render in about 20 seconds, on the homeowner's own house.
- A share link for every render, and a website widget that collects the homeowner's name, phone and email (Growth and Pro).
What does Owens Corning Design EyeQ do?
Design EyeQ lets a homeowner upload a photo or pick a pre-loaded house, then change the shingle color along with siding and trim colors, on a phone, tablet or computer1. Owens Corning relaunched it in October 2025 on Renoworks' AI platform2.
Which Owens Corning colors can RoofRender show?
Oakridge: Black Walnut, Brownwood, Desert Tan, Driftwood, Estate Gray, Onyx Black, Sierra Gray, Teak and Twilight Black.
Duration: Brownwood, Chateau Green, Desert Rose, Driftwood, Estate Gray, Midnight Plum, Onyx Black, Peppercorn, Sierra Gray, Slatestone Gray, Teak and Williamsburg Gray.
Color names that appear in both lines use the same swatch tone.
How accurate are the colors?
RoofRender pins each color to the manufacturer's swatch tone and changes only the roof, so the house, the light and the angle stay real. Owens Corning notes that actual shingle colors may vary from the photo and that roof pitch changes how a shingle looks, and recommends looking at a display or several shingles4. With any visualizer, confirm the final choice with a physical sample.
Is the Design EyeQ widget free for contractors?
Yes. Owens Corning offers the Design EyeQ widget free to any contractor; its Build Your Roof and Warranty widgets are for Owens Corning network members only3. RoofRender's widget shows every brand in its catalog and asks the homeowner for their name, phone and email before the render unlocks, then sends you the lead.
